When we got back into our rehearsal room after "Druturum I: The Grand Book Of Anticyclic Chorals" we set up a wholly new drum kit to keep things fresh and interesting for us.

This kit is played without legs and feet, since it doesn't have a hi-hat and the bass drum is hit from above like a stand tom. It also includes three snare drums, a turntable "cymbal" and some other whacky / broken stuff.
We'll keep changing our (drum) setup for future gigs, but the general principle of this kit will surely be used again someday.

It took us a while longer than anticipated to a) seriously start rehearsing on what would become "Druturum II: This Gloom Is All Ours" and b) realize that due to scheduling problems we would play this show as a duo.

And since we didn't want to lose more time pitching our concept to any promoter now, we decided to play in Windbergen again, where it's not only a great place to be, but we could also get a date which was still in 2017.

The show could have used more spectators, but other than that it went well.

Of course - and just like the final rehearsal - it contained several mess-ups, but that will probably always be the case, so we're learning to live with that.
And as a balance to every mistake in the previous fifty minutes we improvised a strange, but very satisfying encore out of thin air, which is the track "druturum II-VI".

Our audio and video recording equipment was clearly inferior to what we had used last time. It included a microphone in the audience room and the compressed sound of a really not too professional photo camera, which stood right next to the PA system.

Given this circumstances we won't complain about the outcome.

[EDIT: We replaced the old tracks with a new mix which also contains direct signals from our one drum microphone and the sampler. This improved the sound a lot.]
